I was a contributing writer for Big Brother Magazine, also lovingly known as 'America's Stupidest Skateboarding Magazine'. For seven years, and with no direction whatsoever, I was able to carve out a weird, eye-opening, and sometimes dangerous, small corner there. It was a wild, filthy, and thrilling experience. Once it was shuttered, Jackass arose from the ashes. Good times. Shoutout to Larry Flynt, who always paid on time.
